Unit 2 Assignment: Create an Accessible Content Page

Overview

Content Pages are the building blocks of online courses. This short course has over 100 content pages! Mastering technical accessibility and usability in your content pages will help you build an amazing course. 

Instructions

Please add ONE Content Page to your Sandbox. You can create the page from scratch, however if you copy and paste from another course, please make sure the images are transferred also to your Sandbox. To get the most from this assignment, please ensure your content page includes the features we've discussed in this unit (chunking, headers, lists, images, and meaningful links).

Include the following to your Content Page.:

• Use the Rich Text Editor to:
  • add "chunked" content (avoid long pages)
  • add appropriate Headings
  • at least one hyperlink with meaningful text
  • at least one bulleted or numbered lists
  • at least one image with appropriate alt text
• Follow all of the guidelines for making your Content Page accessible.
• Save and Publish the page.
• When your Content Page is ready for review, submit the URL of the page (not your Home Page URL) via the "Submit Assignment" button at the top of this page. Be sure to let us know if you had difficulty with anything in the comments--we'll give it some extra attention in our review!
