Unit 3 Assignment: Create an Accessible Document
- Due No Due Date
- Points 30
- Submitting a website url
Overview
We should carefully consider why and when to use documents in our courses, and we should ensure that students understand how they can access the document and what software they will need to read and/or use the document. Just as important, however, is providing meaningful instructions to help the student work with the document and to explain the purpose of the document within a learning activity (context).
Instructions
For this assignment, you will create or retrofit a document or file of your choice, and add the document to your course. Please embed the document/file in a Content Page, and provide instructions for your student within the same Content Page.
-
- Upload the document/file to your course Files.
- Create a new Content Page in your Sandbox.
- Within the Content Page, provide instructions for the student explaining how to use the document/file.
- Also, within the page, provide links to any software the students will need to open, read, or edit the file (such as, Adobe Reader).
- Add a link to the document/file on the Content Page.
- Publish the Content Page.
- Copy the URL of the Content Page, then submit the URL of the content page via the "Submit Assignment" button at the top of this page..
